Amberdata raises $30 million to bridge the gap between traditional finance and web3
Amberdata, a digital asset data provider to financial institutions, announced a $30 million Series B funding round.

Knollwood Investment Company led the funding round, including Susquehanna International Group, Nasdaq Ventures, NAB Ventures, Chicago Trading Company, Nexo, Coinbase, and Innovius. The company is now valued at $330 million and has received a total of $47 million to date, including a $2 million seed round and a $15 million Series A.Although Amberdata has existing relationships in the US, UK, Latin America, Singapore, and Australia, it aims to expand further globally because it believes there will be a high demand for institutional data to navigate the market.

What is Amberdata?
Amberdata delivers data and insights regarding blockchain networks, cryptocurrency exchanges, and decentralized finance to some of the world's major financial and digital asset institutions, including Citi, Coinbase, Nasdaq, Galaxy Digital, and Binance. The firm was created in 2017, and as more institutional adoption has occurred, it has been relatively successful."Institutional demand for digital assets has gone parabolic this market cycle, and Amberdata's data analytics solution gives institutional investors the market intelligence they need to meet client and proprietary information needs," said Tatiana Metodieva, head of corporate finance and investments at Nexo Ventures.
