Binance plays an important role in Bahrain's first NFT MENA exhibition
Bahrain is currently hosting the first NFT MENA exhibition 2022 with the goal of presenting a "dynamic and futuristic view of the art world regionally and globally." Amidst the important exhibition taking place with guests from a number of places, the world's biggest crypto exchange, Binance revealed that the firm's NFT team was also featured in the 2022 NFT MENA Exhibit event in Bahrain.
First NFT exhibition in MENA
Binance has been taking long strides when it comes to Bahrain and the MENA region marking its presence in the first NFT exhibit in the region. The exhibition "is reinforced by the rising popularity of the blockchain world," as per a report. It is also important to note that this exhibition began on March 16 and will continue till March 18.The exhibition will include "a number of workshops and discussion panels introducing people to the world of Crypto, NFTs and blockchain held by a number of specialists in the field on how to utilize technologies as a creative outlet in the art world, and new opportunities in terms of investment and global markets," as per the report.
Binance acquires license to operate
Not only did Binance mark its presence in the MENA NFT Exhibit 2022, but it was also granted a crypto-asset service provider license from the notable Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). This makes Binance the first digital asset services provider in The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC). This new development was revealed in a blog by Binance as the crypto exchange released the following statement:The license from Bahrain is a milestone in our journey to being fully licensed and regulated around the world. I would like to thank Team Bahrain, guided by the visionary leadership of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister, for the great work in facilitating this achievement.Binance was also granted a similar status in Dubai, as noted by Cryptonary in a recent report.
