Binance announced on Thursday that it has signed an agreement with the Recording Academy, the organization behind the Grammy Awards, to become its first official crypto exchange partner.

Crypto exchange Binance became the first-ever official crypto exchange partner of the 64th Annual Grammy Awards and Grammy Week events on Thursday, bringing various Web3 technology solutions and experiences to the organization's events and projects. The collaboration was announced just days before the 64th Grammy Awards, which will be held on April 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.Binance did not reveal any details about the agreement, such as whether a cryptocurrency will be used or the size of the deal, but it did say that it envisions the development of new monetization avenues for the Recording Academy and the creation of new experiences for music fans.
Recording Academy's second crypto deal
This is the Recording Academy's second crypto deal in recent months. In November, the organization partnered with NFT platform OneOf to publish NFTs for the 64th, 65th, and 66th annual Grammy Awards on the Tezos blockchain.It's the first collaboration with a music organization for Binance, but the crypto exchange is known for its interest in content creation. It has already invested $200 million in Forbes magazine to improve consumer understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
