Bitcoin miner CleanSpark joins the ranks of leading U.S miners
Bitcoin miner CleanSpark has doubled its computing power to two exahashes per second (EH /s) in the last three months, joining the ranks of leading publicly traded North American miners.

CleanSpark, a Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin mining and energy technology company, announced Monday that its operation had reached a hashrate of two exahashes per second (EH /s), allowing the miner to produce about ten Bitcoin per day. According to December production updates, CleanSpark's 2 EH /s puts it in the ranks of top North American miners such as Riot Blockchain, Hive Blockchain, and Bitfarms, all of which have similarly high hashrates.The miner uses a mix of sustainable energy for its Bitcoin mining operations, including nuclear, hydroelectric, solar, and wind power, and buys carbon offsets to make up the difference and achieve its 100% net carbon neutrality according to CleanSpark's website. CleanSpark also uses liquid immersion cooling for its Bitcoin mining facility in Norcross, Ga. to increase mining efficiency. It is also preparing to install a solar power system for the facility.

The announcement marks the realization of CleanSpark's plans to double its hashrate since the company announced in September that it had joined the Foundry USA pool when it moved 1 EH /s into the North American Bitcoin mining pool.
