Crypto.com partners with NBA team 76ers
Crypto.com, one of the leading crypto exchanges in the world, announced earlier today that it has partnered with Philadelphian basketball team76ers. This latest development continues Crypto.com’s partnership trend with sporting entities.Chris Heck, 76ers president of business operations, said, “Crypto.com will be woven into the fabric of our identity, and together, we will change the landscape for how crypto is integrated in sports.”
According to the deal, Crypto.com will become the National Basketball Association team’s official jersey patch partner; it will present a school to educate fans on cryptocurrency and also launch a non-fungible token (NFT) series by the 76ers.
This is the first time Crypto.com is partnering with an NBA team. Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com, told Bloomberg that “The Philadelphia 76ers are a perfect fit for our world-class roster of sports partners. Not only will we see great brand exposure, but I’m especially excited about the unique experiences for fans we’ll create together.”

The cryptocurrency trading platform has spent nearly half a billion dollars in partnering with sporting establishments so far this year. Earlier this year, Crypto.com agreed to become an official sponsor of Formula 1.Crypto.com also signed a deal with French football team Paris Saint Germain earlier this year. The exchange also partnered with the likes of UFC and the National Hockey League’s Montreal Canadiens. These partnerships have cost Crypto.com over $400 million since the start of 2021.
