Cryptobatz: a new NFT collection by Ozzy Osbourne
'Cryptobatz' is the title of the new NFT collection which is set to be released by Ozzy Osbourne, an English singer, songwriter, and TV personality. Osbourne is titled the "Godfather of Metal" and is known for biting off the head of a bat in the year 1982, which is the source of inspiration for the NFT collection.

NFTs or non-fungible tokens have been one of the biggest attractions for the year 2021, and it seems that they continue to attract more and more attention. Ozzy Osbourne is the newest celebrity to join the number of celebrities supporting blockchain-based digital tokens.As per a report from RollingStones, the self-proclaimed "Prince of Darkness" will be releasing a total of 9,666 unique NFTs under Cryptobatz, which will be influenced by the memorable moment from the 1982 performance in Des Moines, Iowa, where he bit off the bat's head.
The Cryptobatz NFT collection has been created by the NFT studio Sutter Systems and brings an important world-first opportunity to the collectors. The collection will be available for purchase from mid-January 2022.
World-first opportunity
The report from RollingStone said that the holders of the Cryptobatz NFTs will be able to give birth to an additional NFT token, "activating a feature which will allow their purchase to 'bite' and mutate; with another NFT from their digital wallet."The pioneering feature of the Cryptobatz NFT collection will be termed "MutantBatz" and is a scarce offering for all collectors. As per RollingStone, the collectors will be able to "bite" Bored Ape Yacht Club, SupDucks, Cryptotoadz, and a fourth unnamed NFT collection.
The pre-sale for the collection is already up on the Discord server of the Cryptobatz NFT collection. A total of 2,500 guaranteed CryptoBat pre-sale whitelist passes will be live via the Discord channel.
"I've been trying to get in on the NFT action for a while, so when I asked Sharon for a Bored Ape for Christmas after several failed attempts of buying my own, and she said no, so I decided to create my own," said Ozzy.
