Whether you're a seasoned DeFi enthusiast or new to the space, let's dive into the decentralised realm and discover the power of DEX trading together.
Before we begin, ensure you have a wallet set up. If you haven't done so yet, you can refer to our tutorial on how to set up a crypto wallet. Additionally, you'll need some native tokens to cover gas fees.
If you don't have any, check out our guide on how to buy crypto with PayPal, credit card, Apple Pay or bank transfer for detailed steps. Once you have the necessary native tokens for gas fees and the token you wish to trade with, let's proceed.
Connect your wallet to Uniswap
First, tap on the browser logo at the bottom. Since we'll be using the built in browser, enter the DEX website address, such as www.uniswap.com. Tap on the launch app to access the swapping interface. Connect your wallet by tapping on the top-right button.Choose tokens you want to swap
Now the first token represents the token you'll pay with, while the second token is the one you'll receive after the trade.Let's say we're swapping USDT for ETH. Therefore, we'll select USDT as the input token and ETH as the output token. Enter the desired amount of tokens you wish to trade and tap swap.
You will be asked to approve and confirm the swap, and a pop up will appear on your wallet for confirmation.
Complete transaction
Once the transaction is executed, you'll receive a confirmation, and your tokens will be available in your wallet. To verify, go back to your wallet and refresh it. If you don't see the tokens yet, you may need to manually add them to your wallet. Tap on import tokens, search for the token you purchased, and confirm.
