We'll show you how to bridge tokens using Jupiter on the Phantom wallet. A bridge acts as a connection between different blockchains, allowing you to transfer assets across networks effortlessly. For instance, if you have USDC on the Ethereum network but want to use it on the Solana network, a bridge lets you move your USDC tokens seamlessly from Ethereum to Solana. This interoperability enhances your options in the crypto ecosystem, enabling you to leverage the benefits of different blockchains, such as speed, cost-efficiency, and access to various decentralized applications. Before we begin, ensure you have a Phantom wallet set up and funded with tokens. If your wallet is ready, let's continue and dive into how to bridge tokens using Jupiter on Phantom.Access Jupiter on Phantom wallet
First, tap on the explorer icon at the bottom right of your Phantom wallet and access Jupiter. You can either tap on Jupiter directly or type "jup.ag" in the search bar. Once you see the swapping interface, tap on "Bridge" to open the bridge section.Bridging your first token
In the "from" section, select the network you want to bridge from and the token you want to send. In the "to" section, select the network you want to bridge to and the token you want to receive. For instance, let's bridge USDC on the Polygon network to USDC on the Solana network. Next, choose the bridge alternative that suits your needs, and you will be redirected to their platform. Type the amount of tokens you want to bridge, connect both of your wallets: the one you're bridging from and the one you're bridging to. In this example, we'll use Phantom wallet for both the Ethereum and Solana networks, as it supports both networks. You will need to approve the transaction, and confirm in your wallet. Then, tap "Send", confirm the transaction, and the bridging process may take a few minutes to complete. Once the bridging is complete, you will see your newly bridged tokens appear in your wallet.
