Dollar cost averaging is a strategy where you invest a fixed amount of money into a specific cryptocurrency at regular intervals, regardless of the current price. Instead of trying to time the market by buying at the lowest price, you consistently invest the same amount over a set period. This approach can help you balance out the cost of your investments over time and potentially minimise the impact of market volatility on your overall investment. Tap on the explorer icon at the bottom right of your Phantom wallet, and then access Jupiter. You can either tap directly on Jupiter or type in jup.ag in the search bar. You’ll see a swapping interface. Tap on “DCA” to access the dollar cost average section.Start dollar cost averaging
Choose the token you want to use to make the purchase. We recommend using stablecoins like USDC or USDT for consistency. Then, choose the cryptocurrency you want to buy. In this tutorial, we'll purchase WIF with USDC as an example. Enter the amount of USDC you want to allocate for each order. Choose the interval at which you want to execute the orders and the total number of orders. For instance, we will set it to execute every 2 minutes for a total of 3 orders, but you can choose a longer timeframe if that suits your preferences. After setting your preferences, review the DCA summary. Once everything looks good, tap on “Start DCA” and confirm the transaction in your wallet. Once the DCA process started, you can monitor the active DCA at the bottom of the screen.
