A DeadGod is the first Gen 2 NFT collection with the original 153 attributes re-illustrated with a Dead art style in mind. It is basically new art, but it is not a new NFT as it will carry the same metadata. In other words, the NFT will be able to hold two pieces of art, so you can change the art style from a DeadGod back to a DeGod and vice versa.

Purchasing a DeGod
Head to https://magiceden.io/marketplace/degods and purchase a DeGod if you haven't done so already.
It is important that you buy directly from Magic Eden, where there is only one verified collection. If you buy from other sites such as Solsea, there’s a greater risk of falling for scam projects as the platform is not as regulated.
Staking your DeGod
One important point to note is that you will need 1049.95 $DUST to transcend your DeGod to a DeadGod. You can get DUST by staking your DeGod for 10 $DUST a day. Head to https://stake.degods.com/It will take around 100 days to get the vial needed to convert your DeGod.
How to get DUST?
If you want to skip the process of staking, there are two other ways you can obtain DUST. One way is that you can purchase DUST using Raydium DEX. To buy DUST you will need to have Solana in your wallet.
Another option is to swap your tokens using Raydium Swap. The most popular tokens that users swap with are SOL, USDT or USDC. These can be quickly exchanged for DUST.
How can you 'Dead' it?
Firstly head to deadgods.com and scroll down to ‘Transcend your DeGod’section. Here you will see the three steps you must take to transcend your DeGod. You must, of course have your DeGod and 1049.95 $DUST. By combining the two, you'll be able to receive your DeadGod.
