CTX to launch first regulated exchange powered by Nasdaq technologies
Singapore-based Cyberdyne Tech Exchange (CTX) announced today that it will launch the world's first regulated digital exchange. The trading platform will be powered by Nasdaq technologies. The asset-backed tokens will represent a fraction of the value of real assets. They will represent assets such as green infrastructure, stocks, real estate, art, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Why CTX is tokenizing assets
Tokenizing an asset using blockchain technology and smart contracts creates a security token that represents a share or ownership. Shareholders receive a piece of the underlying asset, which is often of value.
