Deadmau5 releases second NFT collection
Electronic music producer Deadmau5 releases his second NFT collection titled "deadmau5: Series 2 Card Collection" on the WAX blockchain. It is a follow-up to the collection that was released in December 2020.
What is the card collection?
The collection consists of trading cards meant to represent Deadmau5, his energy, and his style. The collection has various levels of rarity and is divided into different categories. "Pins" are the most common, while "Gold" is the rarest trait. However, the musician has also included a few ultra-rare cards. Owners of these cards will receive a physical reward: a spot on the guest list for an upcoming live performance by Deadmau5.According to the press release, the standard packs include 10 Collectibles for $9.95, while MegaPacks include 30 for $29.95. Additionally, collectors who held onto their First NFTs from the first series will receive a free NFT as a gift this round.
The first set of “deadmau5: Series” cards on WAX packs sold out in 36 hours and was released in December 2020. Back then it was not as usual that a celebrity or artist dropped an NFT collection as it is now.
