FTX strikes strategic partnership with Dave following a $100M investment
FTX Ventures, the venture arm of the cryptocurrency exchange, has confirmed a strategic partnership with Dave, a banking app on a mission to create financial opportunities. As per the official statement from the firm, Dave has partnered with West Realm Shires Services, Inc., owner and operator of the US arm of the cryptocurrency exchange.

"With this investment, Dave has significantly enhanced its balance sheet with additional resources to expedite its growth strategy and invest in future initiatives, including those crypto-related," revealed the press release. It also added that FTX will now be the official and exclusive partner for cryptocurrencies as the two firms plan and develop ways to provide customers with crypto services and payments.It is also important to note that the $100 million investment from FTX Ventures was made pursuant to an unsecured convertible note with a 3% interest rate that is compounded semi-annually and may be paid in the form of cash or kind as Dave officials would seem fit. Forty-eight months has been set as the date of maturity after which Dave will have to pay the expenses incurred by FTX Ventures, the outstanding principal, and the accrued but unpaid interest as well.
FTX US President Brett Harrison made the following statement as per the press release:
