IOTA Technical Analysis - Bottom Caught
Our analysis on the 18th of December 2019 caught the exact local bottom for IOTA on its USD pairing. Since then price has rallied over 110%. Where is IOTA now and will this bullish momentum sustain?
After finding support in the [$0.143-$0.178] liquidity region, and two weeks of struggle, enough demand was found to push price above the next resistance at $0.254.
Since, price has rallied higher towards the next key level at $0.40, but has not reached it yet. The current weekly candle is looking bearish as a lot of selling was found at $0.37. However, we must remember that this candle still has over 4 days before closure and hence early assumptions cannot be made.
For a more detailed view, we visit the daily timeframe.
We find that price is currently resting at the daily level of $0.315. As long as this level holds on that timeframe, the next target will remain at $0.40. Conversely, if it is broken, then a test of $0.254 will be on the cards.
Until either of these aforementioned levels is met, we cannot make assumptions as to where price will go in the medium-term. How PA will react to these levels will be crucial for analysis. Nonetheless, given the current bullish momentum in the market as whole, we favor an upside break of $0.40 with a potential target of $0.525.
