LGT Group, a leading family-owned private banking, and asset management firm, has entered the cryptocurrency market with the launch of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) investments at LGT Bank in Liechtenstein.

A Swiss-regulated digital asset services provider, SEBA Bank, will supply crypto services to LGT's private banking and asset management group, managing over CHF 280 billion ($288 billion) in assets. LGT will initially offer investment services for bitcoin (BTC) and ether. The bank is discussing adding more coins and staking and yield earning possibilities.LGT's crypto services, according to the release, would be fully integrated with traditional assets, allowing clients to seamlessly exchange assets in their existing portfolios. Clients must be based in Liechtenstein or Switzerland, be classified as professional clients, or be managed by an external asset manager to use the new services.
