Metaplex Studios Hires Chief Marketing Officer

Metaplex Studios has named Julie Mossler its Chief Marketing Officer to expand the ecosystem of projects built on the Metaplex protocol.

Metaplex Studios appoints Julie Mossler as CMO

Before joining Metaplex Studios, Mossler was the interim CMO of Paxos, a $4 billion regulated blockchain infrastructure platform. Mossler assisted Paxos' financial blockchain solution's enterprise product marketing and regulatory understanding. She supervised corporate event strategy, brand design and positioning, and worldwide product launches for Meta's digital wallet, Novi, and Mercado Libre.

Mossler will help expand the ecosystem of projects built on the Metaplex protocol, define and deliver a brand experience for Metaplex users, and make critical strategic hires at Metaplex Studios. According to the firm, the expansion of Metaplex Sutiods' executive team, focused on supporting the protocol and ecosystem's growth, comes at a crucial time.

What is Metaplex?

The Metaplex protocol provides a suite of programs and tools developed by the Studios team and its community for creators to launch and release NFT collections on Solana, such as Metaplex's Candy Machine, which allows users to upload images along with their metadata to the decentralized storage network Arweave and then register them on the Solana blockchain.

In January, the Metaplex Foundation secured $46 million in funding from investors led by Multicoin Capital and Jump Crypto. The Metaplex protocol has now been used to mint over 11 million NFTs, resulting in a total sales volume of $2.6 billion for producers.
