New reports suggest privacy coins are almost unstoppable
According to Dr Rob Renwick of Trilateral Research “I think it’s possible that governments will try to outright ban any cryptocurrency that attempts to provide a level of privacy above the current ‘status quo’”. A recent report by the Copenhagen Business School has made claims that the momentum of privacy coins is almost impossible to stop. In collaboration with the Applied Research and Innovation Team at Trilateral Research Limited the report finds that an attempt to ban privacy coins at this stage in the evolution of the market would be near impossible due to their decentralised and privacy focused nature.
