3 low-cost airdrop farming options under $150

Over the last few weeks, we have shared many airdrop opportunities (some examples, here and here).

However, the market keeps giving us more opportunities, and we can’t but share them with our community.

Many of the recent airdrops we’ve shared are in the Solana ecosystem – understandably so because of Solana’s recent momentum. 

However, if you love the Thorchain ecosystem, one of today’s opportunities is right up your alley.

Whatever your favourite Web3 ecosystem is, we are actively looking for opportunities and will find something in your neck of the woods soon enough.

1. Pike Finance

Pike Finance is a next-generation, multi-chain money market powered by Wormhole, Circle and Base.

This protocol enables seamless cross-chain borrowing and lending of native assets, eliminating the need for token bridging and wrapped assets.

We speculate that Pike might have close links to Monad. And Monad raised $19m in funding.

So here is how to play it.

Action plan

1. Go to Pike Finance and connect your wallet.
2. Provide liquidity in any of the markets there (Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, etc.)
3. Additionally, you can buy their unique NFTs (it costs around 1.5 SOL)
4. Go to Magic Eden and buy some of their NFTs
5. Done.

2. El-Dorado

If you know ThorSwap, you will probably understand how EL-Dorado works. El-Dorado is basically the frontend of the Maya Chain.

Apart from being the frontend of Maya, El-Dorado will be integrating Chainflip, THORChain, and Rango, allowing El-Dorado to provide the cheapest routes and a huge diversity of assets. It has already received a grant from Chainflip for integration.

El-Dorado is a profitable protocol, and they will be distributing 100% of their revenue to tokenholders. $ELDO token will potentially be on Kujira or Aztec Chain. After the integration of Chainflip and Thorchain, the revenue will be airdropped to tokenholders in USDC (Chainflip), RUNE (Thorchain) and CACAO (Maya chain)

El-Dorado is not yet using a points system, and users don't need to acquire any special NFTs.

All you need to do is simply “use the product”. 

However, based on the level of engagement on Discord/Twitter, many people are sleeping on this opportunity – even though the team has confirmed the token and there’s a high probability of an airdrop. 

 EL-Dorado has three features, so here is the game plan.

Action plan

1. We will need 25 RUNE (roughly $100). You can get that from exchanges like Binance.
2. Go to the El-Dorado website and connect your Xdefi Wallet.
3. Swap 10 RUNE for KUJI
4. Go to the Earn section and provide 10 Rune asymmetrically
5. Go to the Earn section and then to Savers. Deposit 5 Rune into savers. (Not available yet, but coming soon)

There is a high chance that $ELDO will be launched on Kujira. Therefore, it is recommended to stake the KUJI that we swapped.

Therefore,

1. Go to Blue Kujira and stake your swapped Kuji with one of the validators.
2. If you want to go the extra mile, just play around with the different combinations of assets across the three features that El-Dorado offers.
3. Holding Cacao/Maya might help to qualify as well.

Note 1: We recommend using  El-Dorado repeatedly and spreading your activity across days, weeks, or months. There is no reason to go heavy on this one, as there are only a few farmers. Therefore, a few interactions here and there can potentially pay off disproportionately.

Note 2. The Earn section wasn’t available when recording the video due to technical problems. However, we contacted the team, and they are actively investigating the bug. It should be fine in due time. You can do swaps with different assets in the meantime.

3. ZeroLend

ZeroLend is a decentralised lending protocol on zkSync and Manta.

They have announced a point system and confirmed an airdrop of $ZERO for early participants.

While farming this airdrop, you can get some additional volume and transactions for the zkSync airdrop.

Here is what to do

1. You need to have funds on zkSync. To bridge funds to zkSync, use Orbiter from any other L2s (Arbitrum, Optimism, etc.)
2. Go to ZeroLend and connect your wallet. Ensure that you are on the zkSync chain.
3. Provide at least 100$ of stables into pools or provide 110$ of any assets. (The minimum value is $100 for you to earn points). That is it.
4. Additionally, you can go to Tasks and complete tasks like joining Discord, saying GM there, borrowing, etc, for additional points.

We couldn't shoot a video tutorial for ZeroLend because the website wasn't available at the time of publishing.

The steps above are fairly straightforward, but we will update this draft with the video as soon as possible.
