Introducing ‘Cryptonary’s Picks’

For most people, the strategy is either making random picks or chasing trending coins.

But you can participate in crypto with a precise, intentional, and profitable strategy. 

Today, we present the top Cryptonary’s picks, choosing our favourite projects from the hundreds of projects we’ve covered, the ones that our members care about, and the ones in the personal portfolios of the Cryptonary team.

We then rank them as low-risk, medium or high-risk bets. 

This one-stop dashboard also includes the price when we called each token, our price targets, and the number of Cryptonary team members holding each asset.

Now, to the methodology

Our risk-scoring system categorises assets into low, medium, and high-risk categories based on several factors using historical price data. 

Each asset was scored on volatility, beta to BTC, max drawdown, recovery time in days, market capitalisation, and fully diluted valuation. Each factor was then weighted, and each asset's overall risk score was calculated. 

The overall risk scores were then divided into tertiles, with the bottom classified as low risk, the middle as medium risk, and the top as high risk. Assets from which we could not extract historical price data and with low market caps were automatically categorised in the high-risk table.

Our low-risk picks have larger market caps, more trading volume, less price volatility, and more widespread adoption compared to the mid and high-risk options. They’ll provide your portfolio with relative stability and lower-risk exposure.

Our mid-risk picks have moderate market caps, trading volume, price fluctuation, and adoption. They offer higher return potential than the low-risk picks but have more uncertainty around their price stability and long-term viability. They are more speculative, but they aren’t hero or zero plays.

With our high-risk picks, it's either WAGMI big or not. While there are a few meme coins, the others are speculative plays with experimental products or services pushing the frontiers of innovation in crypto. Being high-risk plays, they offer the highest return potential but have a significant risk of major price declines or failing altogether.

Next week, we will share an expanded report with a synopsis of what qualified each asset as Cryptonary’s pick. A few assets still need dedicated valuation exercises to update our price targets on them; we are working hard to plug these gaps. 

In addition, we will closely align the relationship between our fundamental and technical analysis so you can get a buy/hold/sell rating on each asset to improve your odds of profitability per time.
