Update for cat lovers: POPCAT is popping

Since we last published an update on POPCAT, it is up almost 240%.

Cat lovers are showing up

The number of token holders has increased; over 1000 new investors entered the POPCAT wagon in just seven days. 

That means POPCAT is starting to gain traction - this is a positive development.

For comparison, when we provided the last update, the number of holders had only increased by less than 500 holders in 14 days.

There are now more than 2000 new holders, which implies the cat culture is spreading and the community is growing.

Interestingly, the price is on the same level as when we first published the original report, after being down 85% at some point.

So, if you bought it then and have held it until now - brighter days are ahead.

Speaking of the community, we have an interesting development

POPCAT is now community-owned

A significant update is that POPCAT is increasingly becoming a community token.

How?

Well, jpeggler, ENIGMA's founder and an active member of the Solana community, has acquired the social rights to the POPCAT.

This was a strategic acquisition in response to some of the issues dragging the meme coin down until now. jpeggler has now laid out plans to enhance POPCAT's stability and longevity, starting with making the token metadata immutable.

In addition, a community will now own the project's social accounts - the community has an incentive to promote the project, unlike the original devs, who weren't quite interested in spreading the culture of cat lovers.

We believe this is a positive development that can decentralize the POPCAT community further and push POPCAT to new heights.
