Revolut executive leaves the firm to start crypto-based platform
As covered in a recent report from Bloomberg, the Chief Revenue Officer for Revolut, a U.K. financial super app company, Alan Chang, has left the firm to focus his attention on a new crypto-based startup, initiating an effort to accumulate $100 million in financing. The digital bank was valuated at $33 billion as per recent funding round in July 2021.

The Chief Revenue Officer for Revolut Alan Chang called it quits as Bloomberg confirmed and now, Chang aims to develop his own crypto-based firm in which he has already poured millions from his own accounts. Moreover, Bloomberg also confirmed that the new firm that Chang is building will allow people access to a blockchain-based token as well."After almost seven years, Alan Chang will be leaving Revolut,” a revealed a source to Bloomberg. “We wish him every success in his new venture.” It is important to note here that Chang was actually the fifth employee of the digital banking firm that is known for lightning-fast cross-border payments.
Official filings from the UK confirm that Chang resigned from the firm that he had worked for nearly seven years in late February and also registered himself as the director of a new company on March 1.
