Revolut supports more cryptocurrencies
Revolut announced yesterday that it had listed new cryptocurrencies on its platform. The London-based neo-bank previously listed Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM), EOS, OMG Network (OMG), Tezos (XTZ), and 0x (ZRX).According to the official blog post, eleven new cryptocurrencies are now available for Revolut customers. “You asked for new tokens, we’ve delivered. We’ve been tracking hot tokens and top movers to bring our UK and EU customers 11 new cryptocurrencies. You’ll now be able to trade Cardano, Uniswap, Synthetix, Yearn Finance, Uma, Bancor, Filecoin, Numeraire, Loopring, Orchid, and The Graph,” the blog post added.
Revolut has been providing cryptocurrency trading services to its customers in more than 35 countries globally for the past few years. The company partnered with Paxos last year, making it possible for its US customers to gain access to Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
The fintech firm describes 2021 as the year of crypto. “A whole year to bring you new features, new tokens, and a few other surprises along the way,” Revolut added. The company warned its users of the risks involved in buying cryptocurrencies.
“As always, we want to remind you of the risks involved when buying or selling crypto and that the prices of crypto can be very volatile. Your capital is at risk. While we believe in crypto accessibility for all, we also know that it might not be appropriate for everyone. Please consider your personal circumstances when buying or selling crypto.” The company added.
Revolut lists some unpopular coins
Revolut admitted that it listed some unpopular cryptocurrencies. Some of the coins that are not common with newcomers in the crypto space include; Uniswap, Synthetix, Yearn Finance, Uma, Numeraire, Loopring, and Orchid.The company went on to explain what each coin does and the projects it represents. It assured its customers that their cryptocurrencies are held offline to ensure that they are always safe from hackers.
