Solana NFT sales rising high
According to CryptoSlam's data, Solana NFTs have sold for over $8 million in the last 24 hours. The massive Solana NFTs’ sales come after the leading NFT marketplace OpenSea integrated support for the Solana Network on April 7.This is the marketplace’s initial launch and would have limited collection coverage. OpenSea revealed that the full launch will include a “scalable way to expand coverage via the Metaplex collection standard.”
Notably, in the first 24 hours of OpenSea listing, the Solana-based NFTs witnessed a drop in sales volumes by 20% as the network was having some performance issues at the time. However, the current soar, which seemed like turn of events for creators, is the result of constant efforts by the company.
The power of Solana to make NFTs accessible to every class of investors with its low gas fees has made the Network suitable for many big artists. At the time of publication, some of the most popular Solana NFT collections on OpenSea include DiceDegens, DeGods, and SOLgods, contributing $1.9 million, $1.03 million, and $676k to sales respectively.

The largest NFT marketplace OpenSea confirmed the upcoming support for Solana NFTs in late March, as Cryptonary reported. The news led to the token soaring by 30% in the following days to a three-month high.This is not the first time the energy-efficient network is seeing massive adoption. Before this, the exchange giant Coinbase added support for Solana on its Coinbase Wallet with hints on Solana ecosystem tokens integration.
