Stratis launches first smart contracts on Microsoft’s .NET
Stratis Group Ltd is a blockchain development firm whose aim is to provide a Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) solution to clients looking to leverage the power of blockchain technology to advance their companies. Every new blockchain deployed will be a private sidechain to the Stratis blockchain and will be tailored to the clients’ needs. Stratis recently released the second version (2.0) of their website, as well as their new Cirrus sidechain master nodes and Stratis smart contracts in C# after two-weeks of community testing. This will allow Stratis to become “the world’s first blockchain to offer businesses and developers the ability to execute smart contracts on the Microsoft.NET core architecture. Allowing C# developers to develop auditable Smart Contracts and be confident with the results as true C# code is executed on-chain”. Although the news did not influence the price in a major way, STRAT, the liquidity currency of the Stratis blockchain, was able to rise 20%+ on the day of the announcement. Nonetheless, the gain was quickly sold.
Microsoft.NET is a reputable, free and open source platform that allows developers to build several types of web applications.
