In the first incident, the owner of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT #3,547 sold his token for a meager sum than what he could've gotten for it. As per the report from CNET, the owner of the token said that he sold his Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) for just about $3,000 when he could've received as much as $300,000.The BAYC NFT collection has attracted the eyes of many crypto enthusiasts like Post Malone, who bought a BAYC token in a song video via MoonPay. It was a heartbreaking event for the owner, who said that the reason for this sale was a normal typo from his side. Max or Maxnaut listed his NFT for ).75 Ether (ETH) when he wanted to actually type 75 ETH.
The buyer bought the NFT instantaneously, paying an extra $34,000 for validators to verify his transaction first before other buyers step in.
"I list a lot of items every day and just wasn't paying attention properly. I instantly saw the error as my finger clicked the mouse, but a bot sent a transaction with over 8 ETH [$34,000] of gas fees, so it was instantly sniped before I could click cancel, and just like that, $250k was gone," said Max to CNET.

A Twitter user by the name of Dilly Dilly told his Twitter followers that he sent his BAYC NFT to a derivative "project that was "supposed to produce an animated version of [the] ape." However, the recipient of the token did not comply, and Dilly lost his token. This market is another major incident surrounding the BAYC collection.In a Twitter threat, Dilly explained everything that had happened and revealed that he was in talks with the new owner of the NFT. However, the Twitter community has been unsympathetic with the loss of Dilly as it is unclear if Dilly sent the NFT by mistake and the derivate project was legitimate or if the opposite were true.
