The eagerly anticipated update to the Tron Network, "Sun", it's expected to launch this week. Its CEO, Justin Sun has already affirmed that the newest version will bring considerable improvements to the community, such as scalability. The official landing page of SunNetwork describes the new features of the ecosystem in the following way:
“Sun Network Plan is an expansion plan for TRON main network ecosystem, including smart contract application-oriented side chain(DAppChain), cross-chain communication and other expansion projects. DAppChain is a customizable side chain expansion project related to TRON smart contracts which allow DApps to run with extremely low energy consumption, high security, and high-efficiency online operation. Sun Network is also designed to provide unlimited capacity for TRON main network to support the growing number of transactions”
Similar to many chains of blocks in the industry, the technology had several limitations regarding scalability, which is now being overcome with Sun Network. The team has advertised the release significantly, with Justin's latest tweet stating:
The Sun Network promises to be highly customised, with faster consensus and cheaper unit price for energy burning. The team also improved the security mechanism by making deposits and withdraws more secure.
