Ukraine government official declares 124 BTC and 500 Tesla Shares
A government official in Ukraine said that she owns 124 Bitcoin that she bought back in the year 2013. She also bought 500 Tesla shares, and as a member of the Virovsky Village Council in the western Rivne Oblast, Vladimir Pachesny currently has nearly $8 million in crypto holdings.

In light of such declarations, a report from local media said that Pachesny declared her crypto winnings and current portfolio, which she bought in 2013 for nearly 73,920 hryvnias or roughly $2,800!Furthermore, Pachesny bought 500 Tesla shares, an electric automobile company that has affected the prices of Bitcoin a lot in 2021, in the year 2019. The 36-year old is not the first, nor the richest Bitcoin holder in Ukraine, as a report from April shows that the government workers and politicians own 46,351 Bitcoin, which was worth 75 billion hryvnias at the time (more than $2.6 billion).
A member of the Dnipro City Council, Mishalov Dmitrovich, had the largest stash of Bitcoin, at around 18,000 Bitcoin. It seems that Ukraine is on the right path to crypto adoption in the nation. However, not many of these public figures have been able to provide evidence of ownership of their own crypto holdings.
According to a report in September, a member of Ukraine President Zelensky's Servant of the People party had failed to prove ownership of his crypto holdings. Data submitted by a government official stated that his wife held 42 BTC last year but was unable to prove the accuracy of this information.
The deputy said that he had stored the crypto in a hardware wallet that was kept in his car, and the car got stolen. A similar report from "Slovo i Dilo" shows that a member of the Verkhovna Rada, Anna Skorokhod, was unable to produce proof of the crypto that she was under the ownership of.
