Vitalik was gifted half of the total supply of SHIBA INU and decided to burn 90% of his holdings. The Ethereum co-founder said on Twitter that he would donate the remaining 10% to charity.The trove of over 410 trillion tokens was sent to a dead blockchain address on Sunday, taking them out of circulation.

Instead, Buterin said with "a locus of power of this kind, better to just print the coins into the hands of a worthy charity directly (although talk to them first)."
